In 2004, Vivan Alexander began designing ornaments exclusively for my supplier in limited editions. Starting with 2004, each ornament is signed by the artist and numbered in a series of only 200 pieces. Each limited edition collectible is series marked (1/200, 2/200, etc.)
and bears the year of design and hallmark of the creating artisan. All
ornaments bear the federally mandated purity designation of .999 silver
and the maker’s mark, Vivian Alexander. Each ornament comes packaged in
a velvet pouch inside a richly embossed box.
Each piece is made of .999 fine silver and guilloché, engine-turned with translucent enamel covering the ornament. A quality-certified, Vivian Alexander hallmark is embedded in the enameling. These heirloom quality ornaments are made using the same processes used by Fabergé to create the original Imperial Eggs. Ornaments in general are the fastest appreciating collectables on the
market. Extremely limited, serially numbered, custom designed, high
quality ornaments such as these are heirloom designated right out of
the box, and are sure to appreciate and become very precious gifts
quickly.

The 2004 Winter Wonderland Ornament is embellished with Swarovski crystals. It is enameled in cobalt blue.
The 2005 Candy Cane Ornament has ruby red translucent
enameling and opaque highlights of pearlized snow enamel. It is adorned
with individually prong-set Swarovski crystals and four cream, cat-eye
cabochons.
The 2006 Holly Ornament is embellished with Austrian
crystals and enameled in dark green. Included with each ornament is the
book, "Celebrating Christmas Ornaments" by Nina Chertoff and Susan
Kahn. It features Vivan Alexander™ ornaments and is signed by Vivian
Alexander&tade; designer, Alexander Caldwell.
The 2007 Christmas Tree Ornament is enameled in silver. This ornament is also a ring box with a removable, black velvet, ring insert. There are only 54 left! Get yours soon before they run out!
The 2008 Poinsettia Ornament, the beautiful fine
silver, guilloche turned ornament is augmented by a decorative band of
hand crafted poinsettia holiday flowers and leaves, cast in pewter and
plated in eighteen karat gold. The two contrasting red enameled flowers
are centered with a burst cluster of prong set, faceted jonquil lead
crystals.
The gold is overlaid with red and forest green translucent, kiln cured,
enamel. The pure silver is covered in contrasting jonquil hand applied
lucent enamel.
